ABOUT THE FILM

A closer look.

This factory film shows the LIJIU LRA-LRB-LRC emulsified asphalt plant running a production batch. Watch the colloid mill shear hot bitumen and soap solution into a uniform emulsion, with the PLC control panel monitoring flow rates, temperatures and tank levels in real time.

What the plant produces

The LRA-LRB-LRC series covers hourly output from 6 t/h to 15 t/h and produces ordinary emulsified asphalt, SBS-modified emulsified asphalt and SBR-modified emulsified asphalt. The LRB model further supports direct production of pure modified asphalt. Typical emulsion grades include cationic and anionic binders for tack coats, prime coats and slurry seal applications.

The plant integrates a bitumen melting and metering system, a soap solution mixing tank, a high-shear colloid mill and finished emulsion storage on a single skid. Thermal-oil heating keeps the bitumen at the correct temperature throughout the process, and the PLC recipe system lets the operator store and recall production parameters for different emulsion grades. Every unit is manufactured and tested under ISO 9001 at the Dezhou factory.

Inside the colloid mill, hot bitumen and soap solution meet in a narrow rotor-stator gap where high shear breaks the binder into micron-sized droplets suspended in the water phase. Particle size and distribution determine breaking speed, storage stability and cured film properties, and the LRA-LRB-LRC line lets the operator adjust rotor speed, flow split and temperature to tune the emulsion for tack, prime, slurry or micro-surfacing applications.

The plant is delivered as a pre-piped skid with control cabinet, motor starters and safety interlocks already wired. Installation requires only a level base, power supply and connections to the bitumen and water feeds. Operators store recipes for each emulsion grade, so switching between cationic and anionic products is a recipe selection rather than a manual reconfiguration.
