Intelligent Asphalt Distributor Truck — overview
Overview

Asphalt distributor truck for road construction and maintenance
The KMC5042GSBD336DP6 intelligent asphalt distributor truck is designed to apply bituminous binders during road construction and maintenance. Typical duties include prime coats, tack coats, and upper or lower seal-coat spraying on highways, municipal roads and other road projects. The KAMA chassis uses a 4 x 2 drive arrangement and a 3,360 mm wheelbase for work where vehicle access and manoeuvrability matter.
The operator controls spraying from the cab using a touchscreen and manual control buttons. The rear of the vehicle also has a backup operating system. Spray width, position and intermittent spraying can be adjusted to suit the section being treated, rather than spraying the entire bar at every pass.

Three-section spray bar with individual nozzle control
The folding spray bar provides a maximum working width of 4 m and carries 22 individually controlled nozzles. The brochure specifies an application-rate range of 0.3-1.3 L/m², a working speed of 5-15 km/h and a spraying accuracy of ±1.5%. These are brochure specifications; the required application rate and operating settings should be agreed for the selected binder and project.
The system supports intermittent spraying and a start-up spraying control intended to improve coverage at the beginning of a pass. Thermal-oil heating inside the spray assembly helps maintain material flow through the bar and nozzles.
Thermal-oil heating and insulated tank
The tank uses a 50 mm rock-wool insulation layer with stainless-steel outer cladding. The thermal-oil circuit serves the tank, bitumen pump, spray bar, nozzles and piping. A diesel-fired burner provides heating, with automatic ignition and temperature-control functions described in the brochure.
The listed application media include emulsified bitumen, cutback bitumen, hot bitumen and modified bitumen. Buyers should specify the binder grade and working conditions before the heating arrangement and operating temperatures are finalised. One temperature setting should not be assumed suitable for every material.

Transfer, cleaning and optional equipment
The heated bitumen pump supports self-suction from an external supply and discharge from the tank. A compressed-air line-cleaning function is described for use after spraying. Cleaning and heating operations must follow the supplied operating instructions for the selected material.
A hand spray gun can be specified for edges, corners and areas outside the spray bar’s reach. Confirm the hand gun, nozzle, 10 m hose, seals and tools included in the quotation. Low-level protection against dry heating is available as an optional feature.
Specify the vehicle for your project
For a configuration proposal, provide the destination country, binder type, required spray width, target application rate and working-site conditions. Confirm the exact tank volume, permitted payload, engine configuration and accessory package against the final vehicle documents. Domestic Chinese registration descriptions do not establish approval for another market.
